We focus specifically on pelvic floor therapy - we’re not ortho PTs who just took one weekend course to add to our list of services. We are highly trained experts in pelvic health and whole body care.
You get hour-long, 1 on 1 sessions with a pelvic floor expert. You’ll never be handed off to an aide or other provider, we believe the trusting relationship you build with your provider is important to your recovery.
Our whole practice is thoughtfully designed to be comfortable and warm, and creates a safe space for dealing with potentially difficult issues. You won’t hear a noisy gym outside the treatment room.
We provide other comforts like hot tea, coffee, and snacks in the waiting area, and in the treatment room we have bed warmers, blankets, and a variety of props to support you.

In the vast majority of cases you do not! The state of Montana allows direct access to physical therapy services, meaning you can just call and make an appointment. Referrals or prescriptions are a limitation created by insurance companies.
-
When you arrive, our team will greet you and show you the space, and offer refreshments. Your appointment will start on time, and we provide any intake forms online ahead of time.
You will meet with your provider, and we will spend the first 15 minutes allowing you to tell your story and start putting figuring out our treatment priorities.
We will spend the next 20 or so minutes on your physical exam - depending on your symptoms and preferences we likely will recommend and prioritize an internal exam (see next question - but this is completely subject to your consent).
Next we will wrap up with discussing our initial findings and recommended plans for moving forward. We create customized treatment plans, no “cookie cutter” plans based on a diagnosis.
-
One thing that sets apart a true expert pelvic health therapist is skill and priority in providing internal pelvic floor assessments and treatment. This gives us a lot of information about the health and function of your pelvic parts and helps us to create a long term treatment plan.
We are also highly trained in the trauma-informed space, and you are always in charge of your body, and we will discuss recommendations and allow you true informed consent. That means if you are uncomfortable for any reason, we will move on and focus on other options.
-
Our practice is family-friendly, and you area always welcome to bring your children if you need to in order to attend therapy regularly.
-
We offer mobile visits with an emphasis on early postpartum visits occurring in your home.
We can also meet you in other spaces you need, including where you work or work out if you need direction during specific activities.
